<\Break><\Indent 20> òFrom the Entrance, click on the button labeled "Catalog" in the toolbar to go directly to the Catalog of Artworks, with its Index window displayed.
<\Break><\Indent 20> òThe Catalog button is also available from the Director's Choice area and the Media Center.
<\Break><\Indent 20> òSelect "Artist" at the top of the index to see artworks sorted alphabetically by artist.
<\Break><\Indent 20> òSelect "Title" at the top of the index to see artworks sorted alphabetically by title.
<\Break><\Indent 20> òClick on the title of an artwork to go directly to that object with commentary displayed.
<\Break><\Indent 20> òYou can also get to the Catalog view of a work of art by double-clicking on an image anywhere in the disc or on a thumbnail in your personal portfolio in the toolbar.<\Break><\Break>
COMMENTARY
<\Break><\Indent 20> òCommentary about the work of art is in the scrolling area to the left of the image.
<\Break><\Indent 20> òIf there is more than one commentary, the text excerpts have a red wedge facing to the right at the beginning of each.
<\Break><\Indent 20> òClick on the wedge of the excerpt you're interested inùor the ellipses at the end of the excerptùto expand the text.
<\Break><\Indent 20> òTo return to the "headline view," click on the wedge at the top of the expanded text, or on a matching wedge at the end.<\Break><\Break>
DETAIL
<\Break><\Indent 20> òTo view a detail of the artwork at 2x magnification, click on the magnifying glass in your toolbar.<\Break>
Note: The Detail button's magnifying glass displays a plus sign when clicking on it will bring up a detail; a minus sign when clicking on it will return the artwork to normal.
<\Break><\Indent 20> òTo move the detail around in its display box, roll the mouse over the detailùthe cursor turns into an open handùhold the mouse downùthe cursor turns into a closed handùand drag.
<\Break><\Indent 20> òClick again on the magnifying glass in your toolbar to return to normal view.
<\Break><\Indent 20> òThis process works the same in "Artwork" only view.<\Break><\Break>
MEDIA
<\Break><\Indent 20> ò63 of the artworks have media clips associated with them.
<\Break><\Indent 20> òYou can tell a media clip is available if a button labeled "Audio," "Video," "Slide Show," or "Album" is next to the index button in the lower right of your screen.
<\Break><\Indent 20> òClick the button to open the Media window.
<\Break><\Indent 20> òClick the >> button to start the media clip.
<\Break><\Indent 20> òThe controls allow you to start, pause, step through, and adjust the volume of each media clip.
<\Break><\Indent 20> òIf the media clip is an "Album," click the >> button multiple times to browse through the pictures at your own pace.<\Break><\Break>
ART ONLY DISPLAY
<\Break><\Indent 20> òTo view the art in a larger format with no commentary, click the "Art Only" button in your toolbar or double-click on the artwork displayed on the screen.<\Break>
Note: whenever you double-click on a thumbnail of a work of art, this is the view you'll see.
<\Break><\Indent 20> òUse the Detail button in your toolbar to zoom the view.
<\Break><\Indent 20> òTo view the work of art against a black background, click on the triangular arrow in the upper right corner of the screen.
<\Break><\Indent 20> òClick anywhere to return to normal art only view.
<\Break><\Indent 20> òThe "Catalog" button in the toolbar will take you back to the catalog view.
